IPAV Fine & Decorative Art Graduation. 10th May 2024

A great night was had by all at the annual IPAV Fine & Decorative Art Graduation in the Stephens Green Club. This year we completed the French Series and went on to have a fabulous trip to Paris visiting galleries and chateau’s etc. I documented it with lots of photos on my Instagram page. Looking forward to next years course which I think may be English Art , an interesting one with plenty of artists to choose from.

IPAV Art tour to Paris April 2024

Just back from an amazing trip to Paris with my fine arts group . We had 5 days visiting galleries and chateau’s , so much to see  in Paris . We went to the Picasso gallery and the highlight for me was the Musée D’Orsay where the Paris 1874 Inventing Impressionism was on, it’s 150 years since these paintings were shown for the first time . Monet, Degas, Ceyanne, Sisley, Pissarro to name just a few. I have photos up on my Instagram page of all the places we visited. We also went to Fontainbleau which was the home of several kings and Napoleon during his reign. The last day we went to Malmaison which was bought in 1799 by Josephine de Beauharnais , wife of Napoleon 1st. I could go on forever about all the fabulous places , here is a list of the other places where we visited. Musée des Arts decoratifs
Musee Carnavalet
Musee Picasso Hotel
Fontainebleau
Vaux le Vicomte
Musee D’Orsay ( my favourite)
Musee Nissim de Camondo ( my second favourite)
Malmaison

Pop up Studio day in The View, Malahide Marina. 9th March 2024

A great day was had by all at my pop up studio day in The View and I think my baby grandson Harry stole the show . I had lots of help from my daughter in law Faye’s mum Anne and my own two daughters Catraoine and Amy. It is really a beautiful venue and I can’t thank Kate and Richie enough for there support and letting me show my paintings in The View. Looking forward to the next one and my next big event is The Horse Show in the RDS in August.

Art Source November 2023

I am still on a high after the most amazing show Art Source in the RDS. I have never seen so many people buying art at any show , it was fabulous. It was my most successful exhibition to date and my new watercolours were very popular, only one left. I think I will be painting a lot more watercolours next year. My next exhibition in the RDS will be next year at the Horse Show in August . I will be doing a pop up day as well in The View, Malahide Marina in the Spring. Date to be decided in the new year.  Thank you to all my supporters and buyers , really  appreciated.  In the meantime you can see my paintings in Merrion Sq on Sundays if the weather behaves. Also you can come to The View in Malahide Marina to see selected paintings but by appointment only.  You can make an appointment by contacting me at 087/2823039.
